I have received very positive feedback about my Windows 10/11 Digirig ‘How-To’ series. Windows is a beast, and getting everything configured right is tough, especially for non-tech types.
As a follow-up, I published a Winlink-Vara-Digirig ‘How-To’ today. It walks through the process of sending a Winlink message using VARA and Winlink Express. This document has the same level of detail as my previous ‘How-To’s’ including lots of screen-shots.
Hope you find it useful.

I’m stuck. i followed your guide on connecting digirig mobile to windows 10 but when I plug the digirig in the place it shows up is in other devices (cp2102n usb to bridge controler). Nothing under Sound video and game controllers. I’ve had this thing for quite a while. I understand plug and play is not fun but this is going a bit far. Any davice.
Thank you in advance.

Hi Tom,
It appears, you are very close to getting the Digirig to work. Here are my thoughts:
1) Make sure you have the latest Windows 10 updates.
2) Here is an article from the Digirig website that explains how the driver works.
3) Here is an article that will help you troubleshoot the driver issue.
4) Here you can download the latest Silicon Labs USB driver.
A couple of important things from the article(s)
— On older hardware, be sure to try different USB ports. They are not all the same on some hardware.
— Test different USB cables until you find one that works.
If I had to guess what will fix your issue; in the following order.
* Windows Updates
* Install the latest Silicon Labs driver.
* Reboot
— If issue is not fixed:
* Try a different USB port.
* Try a different USB cable.
If you are still stuck, let me know.
